Rectifiers

  1. Ranges

    1. RED 1 standard series (60W to 2.4kw)
      This series comprises mainly a single phase power transformer and a rectifier bridge of 4 silicon diodes. It is basically fed in 240 or 220 V 50 Hz. Other voltages on request.
    2. RED 3 standard series (500W to 22kW)
      This serie comprises mainly a three-phase power transformer and a three-phase rectifier bridge of 6 silicon diodes. It is basically fed either in 415 of 380 V - or in 240 or 220 V. 3 ph. 50 Hz (to specify in the order). Other voltages on request.
    3. Special ranges
      Other couplings and powers are available on request.

  3. The main characteristics of our rectifiers will be found easily under the reference code.
    Ex. :110 RED 3 50
    110 : nominal output voltage
    RED : diode rectifier (bridge)
    3 : three-phase (1=single-phase)
    50 : nominal output current.

  4. Performances

    1. DC output voltage
      The DC output voltage does not vary perceptibly more than the secondary AC output voltage with regard to the primary AC input voltage of the power transformer. The voltage drop of the diodes is nearly independent of the output current. lt is about 2 V.
    2. Voltage ripple
      RED 1 series (full wave single phase rectifier bridge). The rate of RMS ripple is 48.5% of the average output voltage.
      RED 3 sertes (full wave three phase rectifier bridge). The rate of RMS ripple is in this case 4.2% of the average output voltage.

      Note : The use of one or more RC/LC filter cells reduces the natural ripple of chosen rectifier.

  5. Equipment
  6. Our standard series RED 1 and RED 3 mounted and wired on a base-board, are foreseen to be incorporated in a more complex equipment The standard equipment is transformer with separate windings protected by input fuses, silicon diode rectifier, their quick acting fuses, overvoltage protection (if necessary).

  7. Options
    1. Standard series of rectifiers on base-board
      lnput circuit-breaker in place of input fuses! RC or LC filters (1 or 2 cells) we have to know the maximum value ot the accepted ripple/Autotransformer in place of transformer with separate windings.
    2. Standard series in metal enclosure
      Input switch/lnput contactor with push-buttons/Output ammeter and voltmeter.
