JEMA-ELEC is based in Louvain-la-Neuve in the beautiful and peaceful surroundings of the Science Park. This idyllic setting provides our engineers with the perfect environment in which to develop new products and reach ever higher quality standards.

JEMA-ELEC is a Belgian private company. It started out as a family firm, founded in 1937, and takes care to preserve the friendly working environment which has proved such an inspiration and motivation for all who work there.

JEMA-ELEC's traditional product range has insured the company's growth. This range includes coil-based products such as transformers, autotransformers and resistances and cabled products such as rectifiers, battery chargers, emergency and uninterruptible power supplies ("U.P.S."), voltage and current stabilisers and converters.

As a result of JEMA-ELEC's continuing policy of investment in research and development, the company is now a Ieading producer of high technology equipment.

Dry transformers which achieve an output of up to 500 kVA and autotransformers which achieve approximately 1000 kVA are our leading coilbased products. These can be tailored to meet virtually any specific customer requirement.
We can offer single-phase, three-phase, "three-single", SCOTT and zigzag couplings as standard. Our standard range also includes high tension ignition transformers, chokes and inductive reactances.

Few compagnies can equal JEMA-ELEC's outstanding reputation and experience in the field of resistance engineering.

JEMA-ELEC's investment in research and development has resulted in a range of high technology products designed to meet the specialised needs of customers such as hospitals, laboratories and research centres. Today, JEMA-ELEC is the only company in Belgium making High Performance Power Supplies (H.P.P.S.) for cyclotrons and linear accelerators with the current stabilised to a variation of only a few parts per million of the nominal current.

Many customers who first came to JEMA-ELEC for its traditional product range are now enjoying the benefits of H.P.P.S. Thanks to these developments and our policy of diversification, JEMA-ELEC has a prestigious client base.
